RESTORE DRAINAGE WITHOUT STOPPING OPERATION

At the Albert store in Náchod it was necessary to completely restore the drainage system of a flat roof with a total area of 1300 m².

The task was clear: to use existing cast-iron drains, not to interfere with the load-bearing structure of the roof, to maintain compatibility with the BAUDER waterproofing system and not to restrict the operation of the shop.

Therefore, it was necessary to find a solution that could handle the reconstruction quickly, safely and without extensive construction modifications.

The solution

SMART REMEDIATION WITH TW SAN

The TOPWET Technical Department has proposed the use of the TW SAN remediation system, which allows the addition or replacement of existing drains without interfering with the supporting structure of the roof.


‍

In cooperation with the realization company LT Isolation, a detailed analysis of the current state, the location of the drains and the method of connection to cast iron pipes was carried out.


‍

The chosen solution ensured full compatibility with BAUDER waterproofing and reliable drainage even in heavy rainfall.

IMPLEMENTATION

DONE IN A SINGLE DAY

The implementation took place on a pre-planned date within a single day, without the need to limit the operation of the store.


‍

After opening the roof deck, the LT Izolace team accurately measured the positions of the cast-iron downpipes, installed the TW SAN refurbishment roof outlets, connected them to the existing piping, and fitted TWR leaf guards.

‍

Thanks to good preparation, fast TOPWET logistics and favorable weather, the installation took place without complications.
