General information on personal data processing

Our website is primarily used to present our products and establish contacts with business partners – usually entrepreneurs. In

some of our divisions, consumers can order our products directly, in the same way as in any other e-shop.

The above also applies to the scope of personal data processing, which occurs mainly when using contact details, enquiry forms

or direct purchases.

In order to know whether our website and products appeal to you, cookies are also stored on your device. We use the statistical

data obtained in this way to optimise this website.

Details on the processing of personal data are provided below for each purpose of processing.

In any case, you can rest assured that we will adequately secure your data and will not sell it to any other person for their own

purposes.

We conduct Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) in accordance with Article 35 of the Regulation, particularly customer profiling in our e-shop (e.g. personalised product recommendations). The results of the DPIA are available upon request via gdpr@topwet.cz.

Transfer of personal data

In cases specified by law, we may be required to transfer your personal data to public authorities, in particular in connection with

tax regulations.

We may also transfer your data for processing to processors – our carefully selected partners, whom we involve in processing

primarily on the basis of their ability to handle your data in a lawful and secure manner.

We use processors mainly in the areas of accounting and taxation, legal consultations and data storage.

Contact

Whether you decide to contact us by email, in writing, by telephone or using the enquiry form on our website, the data you provide

will be stored.

This is done on the basis of the necessity of such processing for the implementation of measures taken prior to the conclusion of

any possible contract between us.

We will only use the data to respond to your enquiries and, if applicable, to establish a contractual relationship if you are interested

in our products.

We will process the data to the extent that you provide it to us. Of course, the more we learn about you, the easier it will be to

communicate with each other and the better we will be able to offer you the optimal solution.

If we do not agree on further cooperation, we will delete the collected data no later than  after the last

communication.

If you contact us by telephone on our customer service line, our conversation may  also be recorded on the basis of our

legitimate interests in improving our services. You will always be notified in advance of the recording during the telephone call.

We will keep the recording for 3 months so that we have time to evaluate it. You can object to this form of processing at any time.

Purchasing in the e-shop

If you decide to purchase our products on our website, it will be necessary to process the data you provide in order to fulfil your

order. Processing will therefore take place as it is necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual obligations.

When placing an order, you have the option to choose the method of delivery. If you do not choose personal collection, we will

pass on your data to the selected carrier, who will process it for the purpose of delivering the goods to the address you have

provided.

When ordering goods, you can also choose one of the payment methods. If you do not pay cash on delivery or in cash upon

personal collection, your payment details will be processed by the payment gateway provider or other online payment method. In

this case, we will not have access to your payment details for security reasons.

The provision of mandatory information as part of the order is our contractual requirement – without filling it in, it is not possible

to complete the order.

We will further process your personal data in our accounting system for the period specified by applicable law. The reason for

this is the necessity of processing for the fulfilment of our legal obligations.

Based on our legitimate interests, we will retain personal data for the duration of the limitation period in order to protect our legal

claims. You can object to this form of processing at any time.

Business cooperation

If we agree with you as a large customer on any form of business cooperation, we will process the personal data you provide for

the purpose of fulfilling our contractual obligations. The processing of personal data is a necessary condition for our cooperation.

If you are a legal entity, we will process the personal data of your employees or members of statutory bodies for this purpose.

We will also process some of the personal data obtained in this way for the purpose of fulfilling our legal obligations, particularly

in the area of accounting and taxation. Processing for this purpose will be carried out for the period specified by law.

We will retain personal data for a reasonable period of time after the end of our cooperation based on our legitimate interests in

protecting our claims. You may object to this form of processing at any time.

User account

f you are a regular customer, you can choose to create a user account when placing your order. In this case, we will remember

you and your next purchase will be easier.

In order to provide you with this convenience, we will store the information you provide in our system. You will have access to it

via your chosen username and password.

If you change your mind, you can of course delete your account at any time. If we do not have your data stored for other purposes,

we will delete it along with your account. You can also edit or correct your personal data in your user account.

Sending commercial communications

We do not want to bother you with spam, but from time to time we would like to send you information about our new products.

If you enter into a business relationship with us and do not refuse to receive commercial communications, we will send you

commercial communications based on our legitimate interest in promoting our products.

If you do not wish to receive commercial communications, nothing could be simpler – just unsubscribe using the link at the end

of every email you receive from us.

You can object to this form of processing at any time, either by using the aforementioned link or by sending us a message stating

that you do not wish to be contacted further.

Storing cookies on your device

We use cookies that allow us to recognise your device on your next visit. These are small text files placed on your device; there

are many types and they serve different purposes. Some of these files are essential for the operation of the website; if this is not

the case, we will ask for your consent before storing them.

Details about individual cookies can be found in our cookie bar. We generally use the following categories of cookies:

Essential

Storing these cookies is essential for the functionality of our website. These files store, for example, information that enables

navigation on our website, information about whether you have given us your consent to store other types of cookies, and they

enable user accounts to function. The processing of essential cookies is not subject to your consent. However, these cookies do

not collect any information about you that can be used for marketing purposes.

Analytical

Analytical cookies collect information about your browsing of our website. From their anonymised outputs, we are then able to

understand how you visit our website. We use the information obtained to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for

on our website.

We only use this type of cookie if you have given us your consent on your first visit.

We use Google Analytics from Google, which processes some of the data in the USA, and Clarity from Microsoft Corporation

to perform the analysis. In order to minimise the risks associated with this, we use these tools in such a way that the impact on

your privacy is minimal – i.e. with anonymised IP addresses and deactivated functions that could, in theory, lead to your

identification.

For more information about the processing and use of your data, please refer to the privacy policies of Google and Microsoft.

If you do not want to provide anonymous data about your use of the website to these services, i.e. not only to us, but to all

websites you visit, you can use, for example, a browser extension that prevents your data from being sent to Google or Microsoft.

Marketing

Marketing cookies collect information about what information on our website has caught your attention and allow us or our

advertising partners to display advertisements on this or other websites that may be of interest to you. These cookies also allow

us to limit the number of times our advertisements are displayed on your device and to measure the effectiveness of our

advertising campaigns.

We only store advertising cookies if you give us your consent when you first visit our website. If you do not give us your consent,

nothing will happen, of course, but unfortunately, fewer advertisements will be displayed on the website, and they will probably

not be related to services that you might be genuinely interested in.

We use the following tools to display and analyse advertisements:

  • Google Ads by Google
  • Slick from Seznam.cz, a.s.

Their involvement allows us to display advertisements on the Google and Seznam advertising networks.

We use remarketing features, i.e. displaying advertisements in the content network based on previously viewed products,

extended demographic reports (reporting anonymous demographic data), and in the case of Google Ads, also their user ID

feature, which allows us to measure and analyse user behaviour across devices. However, we only use a random string of

characters as the user ID, which does not allow third parties to identify a specific person.

Rights of data subjects

The relevant legislation associates a number of rights with the processing of personal data – that is, your rights as a data

subject.

These include, in particular, the right to information, i.e. your right to request information from us about the categories of

personal data processed, the purpose, duration and nature of the processing, and the recipients of the personal data. This

information is provided above, but we will be happy to explain everything in more detail if you are interested. You also have the

right to request a copy of the personal data being processed – some of it is accessible on your profile if you create one on the

website.

If any of your data changes, or if you find that we are processing inaccurate personal data, you have the right to have it corrected.

We will be happy to correct any inaccuracies in your data without undue delay, and you can also edit it in your profile.

Under certain conditions, you have the right to erasure or the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. If the legal

conditions are met, we will delete your data or restrict its processing upon request.

Finally, you have the right to object to or complain about the processing of your data. Objections should be sent to us and may

be directed against processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests or any form of direct marketing. You can lodge a

complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection at any time.

Effectiveness

We update this policy on an ongoing basis as necessary. We last did so with effect from 1 January 2026.

Below you will find information about the entities involved in the processing of your personal data, as well as data on the scope, purpose and forms of processing.
